Best location! It was a small room but clean and comfy.

A part of wall was little dirty and molded. It was behind door and I think it became blind area.

Great location, close to the station. Friendly staff and the hotel is cozy and compact. The breakfast is very diverse, with western food to choose from as well.

Overall an enjoyable stay and I appreciate the staff willingness to help foreigners.

I enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was.

Bed was a bit hard for my liking.

A great choice Hotel in Akihabara

-Located near Akihabara JR station, 3-4 minutes walk through the short-cut walk way to the hotel (google map or map at Akihabara station is helpful). However in case using the non-short cut, it is still okay, probably 5-6 min walk. - Nice view from the 23rd floor- room. Able to see Tokyo Sky Tree from the bathroom. - Friendly staff. - Worth for the money spent.

- Compared with other hotels in Japan I have stayed at, Via Inn Akihabara is a bit slower for their response through the " message to property" Booking-channel. - Since the hotel is near the railway so it is a bit noisy at night. However it is not a big deal for me and my family.

What was the highlight of Via Inn Akihabara

Perfect place for our first trip to Japan

+ The price. Compared to other places with as big of a room as we had the price almost doubled. So this was really affordable for a 3 week trip. (Breakfast was included) + Location. It is very near akihabara station and kanda station is just 5 min walk away. +Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. + Room was very clean and the bathroom was suprisingly big.(I'm used to having small bathrooms in hotels even though the room is like 20m2.) + Every room had air conditioning which was very nice. + Breakfast was really good japanese style one. + Washing machines on the 3rd and 4th floor were very helpful. And you could see if they were in use from the TV in your room. Very handy! + Vending machines on the 3rd and 4th floor in the same space as the washing machines. +And if you want a women only floor there were those too! The 3 highest floor were reserved for women only which I thought was really nice.

The only thing was that they had two different breakfast sets which they changed every other day, so at the end of the trip you started to get tired of the food. But this is very minor thing

Great everything besides the smell.

Really spacious, great bathroom. Location great for all Akihabara enjoyers.

Smell in the room is exceptionally bad. Turning on Airco fixes it though so no big issue.

Very Good

The bathroom has an external window, the sun will shine in in the morning, and the room is bright. The bed is moderately soft and hard, which is quite comfortable.

There are railroad tracks around, and you can hear the sound, but you still fall asleep every day when you lie down.

Wonderful

The hotel was great - amenities, facilities, breakfast, and of course the lovely staff. Great location, lots of walkable spots, easy access to public transport :)

Rooms slightly smaller, but you'll probably only sleep there :)

Good value hotel for Tokyo

Location, high floor room, view from room, breakfast was good enough

Requested none-smoking room, but been given a smoking room. Checking in process was a bit difficult. Bed is very hard (for western standard). Room is small but acceptable for the price.

Great location, great staff, wonderful breakfast!!

The location is just perfect, close to Akihabara Station and other three metro stations. The cleanliness is as you'd expect from Japan, top notch! The staff is very friendly and helped us in various occasions. The breakfast was ablsoutely delicious and had many Japanese dishes, but also some more western choices. Finally it was a good value for money given the location (but do not expect big rooms, t's Tokyo!).

The air-conditioning remote was a bit difficult to understand, at first.
